not sure the pilot it's been the same since mods were put on i'll let you know that. needle is 2nd from the top, running ptr mids, wicked motorsports cool head, v-force reeds, k@n w/ airbox - the snorkel. what you think pilot should be around and it just started to happen maybe carbs out of sync gotta get tors elim. kit

27.5 pilot will probably work good, though your needle needs to be richer than that. Try the 4th position, the 3rd is minimum with pipes.

Up to 1/4 and 1/2 is a lot needle. The air screw won't really affect it. Try the needle and see if that helps, you could be lean and just need more fuel.

Raise your needles all the way up.. I run mine in the 5th clip from the blunt end, stock pilots, adjust air screws to .5 turn from seated and see how it likes that...Also, take the snorkel off....

clip is already at top

just checking with you here, but AWAY from the blunt end is how you should be moving it, not towards the blunt end.

The closer you move the clip to the sharp end is richer. You should be putting it in the 4th clip AWAY from the blunt end, or as Banchetta recommends, trying the 5th clip AWAY from the blunt end.

Sorry if that's what your doing, but what you said sounds fishy. :(

Agreed, moving the clip down will raise the needle......4th or 5th clip from the blunt end so the clip will be moved towards the taper.... so when you put the needle back into the slide the needle will be higher inside the slide....
