Chain

Check your axle carrier bearings also. If they're going out, your axle will move around a little and cause your chain to stretch and break. Lift the rear and try to move the axle up and down, back and forth. Any movement means new bearings.

Can't check my axle bearings because I bent my stock axle and put in a durablue 2+2 eliminator. While i had it apart I decided new bearings would be a good thing. If that was the problem it will be fixed now, but I don't think it has had new sprockets since 2001, I think it needs em.

Thanks for all the responses
