strokedpony Posted March 18, 2004 Report Share Posted March 18, 2004 I am looking to pick up some paddles for my shee. ITP Sand Stars come with douglas wheels. Question is .125 or .160 or .190? Wasn't even considering .125's but between .160's and .190's for just dunes are the .160's strong enough or is it worth the extra $15 and little weight to go ahead and get the stronger .190's? Thanks all!!!!!!!!!!! This place kicks ass. Also I have problems signing in to this sight everytime I try I have to do it through a lost password and reset it each time? Who might I ask about this? Hell, for the dunes only, I'd get the .125 Blue Labels. I run the .160 Black Labels all the time and I really like them, haven't had any trouble. I kinda taco'd a front one time landing wrong...but a rubber mallet & a few beers later shee was good to go, haven't had any problems since. I used to run Douglas .125 wheels in the sand, but I ride pretty hard and have ruined numerous .125 wheels. I have the sand stars mounted on ITP T-9 Baja wheels currently, and have not had any issues. For me the extra weight (even though it is minimal) is worth the peace of mind. Mainly cause I like to jump the out of my shee. First ride in the dunes with the new sand stars on they hook up like you wouldn't believe.
