I took the freakin rims to my buddies shop and he balanced them, still no change. Anybody got any ideas? Even put new tires on it. Newer front end bearings. The only thing I did was get a some mods done to the motor,it made it fast enough for go thru the shimmey just like car that has a shimmey at a certain mph. He did something like a stabilizer on the front (the shocks on the tie rods). He said that reduced his problem. Also I drag race a 98 z28 10.82 et. the tires make a real difference on my car. The stock tires had a tendency to follow the bumbs. When I went to skinny's the following went away but the vibration was killing me. I sold those to somebody and got another brand. "thenewguy" Posted March 23, 2004 Report Share Posted March 23, 2004 put you front end up on blocks so your tire just misses the ground. spin the tire i garentee you that it stops and hits the ground at one point. or your rim is not aligned perfectly on the hub. its one of those. how much play do you have in your steering?
