chase73 Posted March 17, 2004 Report Share Posted March 17, 2004 reaaming spindles for after market a-arms ??? does anyone know who can do this or have a set of spindles they want to sell that will work . i bought a set of jannsen a-arms anad the kid said they did not have to be reamed and . They do its a 2 degree taper and the machine shsop near me said they would have to make the reaemer and thats a $100.00 and then tot do work is more $$$$$ WTF any help is apprerciated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DUNEDEMON Posted March 17, 2004 Report Share Posted March 17, 2004 Try another machine shop, go buy your own reamer, or call Jansen see if they will return your ball joints, if so return them, and purchase some new ones if the threads on their arms are a common size (16x2.0 if memory serves) from ricky stator. Very true, plus you have the satisfaciton of doing it yourself, make an offer to HQ members to ream their spindles with a one day turn-around for a small charge, just an idea to help some one out and pay for your new tool.
