BansheeBrian Posted March 16, 2004 Report Share Posted March 16, 2004 If you lube the cable try to keep sand away from it as much as you can.Clean the throttle assy. well.Then plug up that drain hole thats at the bottom so nothing can enter.I have heard that snipping a few coils off the return spring helps. It has pullled this hard since I bought it over a year ago. How do I go about sanding the springs? Cutting a couple of rounds off doesn't lighten a spring it just shortens it. jeffro189 Posted March 19, 2004 Report Share Posted March 19, 2004 it takes a while to get used to it, but it easy to go ever rough stuff when you get used to it. it took me about 1 week of riding to learn how to ride with a twist throttle. just my 2 cents worth.
