Rescuejeff
I need to buy some Elka shocks for my wife's 89, with a A-arm up grade. She is about 105lbs dry and with riding stuff maybe 125lbs. We ride the sand dunes out here in Southern Cali only, would dual rates or triples be better and rezzies, yes or no. I would like to know some of your thoughts and comments on the product. Thank you very much in advance.
banshee04le
Elka only makes dual rates for the banshee. They are excellent. Unless she is going to be RACING, you don't really need the rezzies.
Leadfoot350
Your wife does not need high dollar shocks because she does not weigh anything. I am using works tripple rates with rezivors and +3 +1 a arms and I weigh 245 with gear and it works fine at glamis. That is the only place I ride. It still gars me around over the tracks of other riders which sucks but for all other uses they work great. If the elkas get rid of the garing then your wife will like those better. fixitrod
Get the WORKS they are cheeper... I have axis on mine and I have to agree.... works would be perfect for your wife. If you insist on elka's I don't think you need the rezzies.
Rescuejeff
I think she has a deal worked out for the elkas, but the works might be a good options if we have to pay for them, she works in the motor sprots industry and might get them free. Thanks for all the information.
FoxBansheeRacing
I have HSD a-arms on my banshee, and they are made to accept 250r shocks. So I actually have triple rate 250r Elka's on mine.
