sredish
This afternoon I noticed that part of the problem may be related to the petcock. She runs great on RES till its empty or until I turn it ON then back to RES Get an clear inline filter and put it in the fuel intake. This way you can see if she's actually running out of fuel, or not and if there's a problem with the petcock. Maybe when you tapped the holes for the idle screws, there is a burr inside the carb holding the slide.... Definitely something to consider. DIRTBIKEZ
Fuel supply problem solved... needed more gas in the tank . Installed a fuel filter today but its too large so I'm going to try to find a smaller one to replace it, as well as some new hose to replace my hack job. Tried spraying starter fluid around the carbs again today... no luck on finding an airleak. Still have to disconnect the throttle cables completely and see what it does. Triple checked for burrs in carbs too. Edited April 17, 2004 by DIRTBIKEZ
Banchetta
If you were low on gas, the that'd make it rev higher also, the motor will get the air from the jets....anyone that has ever ran out of gas will know that the motor will spike up in rpms just before it runs out......
