Otis
If i try and start the banshee w/ out the silencers on..and let it run for a minute or 2....will i cause any damage to the motor(or anything else)? If your asking why would i want to do that.....because i just put my new heads pipes on, and dont have the silencers yet...and just wanted to kick it over.... I ran mine a little with out the silencers at my shop before dumont. I'm sure you'd be okay for a little while, but I wouldn't do it permenantly. Its loud as hell too btw. MotulMonsta
You won't do any damage when you run it without the silencers..but if you run it without the whole pipe, you'll fry your motor. I did this with an old 50cc honda scooter me and my buddies called "Scoot". It lasted like an hour. But then again I used eather like nitous on the thing all the time. It would do a cool 45mph on eather. But Scooter's don't jump well and the handle bars have a tendency to bent till they touch the seat. trail rider
I love taking the sliencer off my crf 150. It is really loud, especially when drag racing somebody. You can hear it about 2 miles away. Does it hurt it when you hold the kill switch, give it a lot of gas, let off the kill switch and let it backfire? nickxc
My friend and I took the silencers off his v max 4 which is a sled with, basically 2 banshee motors side by side with a common crank, That bastard sounded soooooo good I still have a chubby over it. Too bad my 02 xc 700 smoked it but it sounded good when I went by
