shee4202
I want to port my cylinders and i just got off the phone with rossier engineering about their top end rebuild deal, porting, boring, head mod, and top end kit. I told them that i didn't need the head mod because i've been using the cool head. they told me that i might have trouble because of the compression ratio that the wiseco pistons and the cool head domes would give. Can anybody tell me what dome size to use and if anybody has had a problem. I've been using 21cc domes. can anybody give me some information? bkabina
I have run as low as 17cc domes and have had no trouble yet.If you do run into problems get a Trinity Pro head, they have studs that go clear down to the outer four cylinder studs. yamaha350
when you port an engine you loose compresion. you will have to check your compression after the port job. i had 17cc domes in my last motor and it had 160 lbs.
