BdBanshee
There is also a small half moon plate behind the clutch basket, with a bolt going into each half that has to be removed. Then you should be able to tap the case with a rubber mallet and lift the top half off.

Schizo
This is the clip thingy that must be removed. You have to remove the clutch basket first. EDIT: Pic was used from www.thebansheezone.com Try to mention where things came from..... THanks!!! Edited March 12, 2004 by boonman

Schizo
Your gonna need to get a flywheel puller, you can get them from most bike shops for about 10 bucks or so.
MotulMonsta
The case is going to be hard to spit. Make a box with 2x4's just big enough to fit the engine in then set the corner on the case on the 2x4 and push down on the crank in spurts until the case splits. brugal
You should buy a Clymer manual, it tells you all you need to know, for when you put her back together.

boonman
Clymer manual. It will explain alot in short amount of time.... You need to get all the peripheral equipment off the motor. Clutch, flywheel, stator, top end. It all needs to come off. Then, with the case bolts out, I take a dead blow hammer, and tap on the rear engine mount. This starts the seperation. Once it seperates from that point, it comes apart easy.....
