stroked427
Im wanting to buy a set of rear paddle tires for my Banshee.. it has the usaul mods like fmf fattys, v-force reeds,k&n filter snorkel removed , cool head with 21cc domes and im getting 151 psi cranking compresion with them at my elevation... jetting dead on... Im wanting to make a one time purchase and be happy... i like to drag race, Jump and hill climb with it mostly.. drag racing 80% of the time though.... I want a tire that can hook right up and get me out of the hole and still give me some fun when i want to play around on the hills..... tried sand geckos last year and i think the sucked lots of spinning... Im kinda leaning towards the extreme haulers or haulers or the ripper ... dont know what size though....wondering if i can run a 22" tall with out no problems....Price isnt really a concern just want to be happy and not make the wrong decission.... Any help would be much appreciated....... Scott
dnhyoung
I've got the 8 Paddle Extreme haulers and love them. They hook up great in the hole shots and on the hill climbs. The only thing that I notice is that I can't slide the ass end around as easily as with say sand Skate's, but that's easy to make up with a blip of the throttle. Big Blue
i have 20" 8 paddles right now the next set i buy will probably be 10 paddles since i had my motor built and will probably need more to hook up.
350duner
22" might be a little tall if your motor isn't ported. If you go with 22's I'd get 8 paddles. You could go with a 20" 10 paddle and that should work pretty good also.
ranshee
Get the haulers if you mostly like to drag. Especially up hill
DUNEDEMON
You could go with a 20" 10 paddle and that should work pretty good also I would advise against this, 10 paddles are a lot of tire, I reccomend staying with an 8 paddle tire no matter what size (20, 22 etc..) you go with. Unless you have some serious engine work planned for the very near future.

BitchenBanshee
I always stick with the 22's. Mainly because they give you the extra ground clearance to keep you from getting buried in Hole Shots.... I run the 22x11x8's on a 8x8 rim. This give it a really round shape. I only run 8 paddles. The 10's were just too hard on the drive train with a 22" tire!!
BdBanshee
I have been using 10 paddle haulers for many years, work great with a ported motor.
Lepew
20-10-10 9 paddle. Hook up plus a flat paddle to help if I slide. There isn't a perfect tire. If its wet I wish I had 8 blades when it's dry I can't seem to hook up like I want.

ledofthezep
I think anymore paddles are getting to be like aftermarket pipes. Pick which one you feel will suit your style & go with it. I loved my 20" 9 paddle haulers, they were flawless for me. I now have those 8 paddle Turbo paddles & like them just as much as my haulers, maybe even a bit more since they were over $100 cheaper. stroked427
Hey, you guys are great... always helpful.. i did all my mods on my banshee from reading on this site!!.... this site couldnt be better for the people to get heads up info on what they love to do.... After all the reading and that on a sand tire i think i am going to run with the 20/10/8 8 paddle by sand king turbo paddle.... I,ve read some pretty good reviews on these and for the cost i am going to get them.... from Jims sand toys.... i wanted to go with the taller tire but i was advised not to with the stock swing arm because the fact that it would tend to wheelie to much.... i will run these for now untill i go and remod with a +4 swingarm then i will run the 22/11/8 9 paddle.... Thanks again everyone.... Scott
