Cotton eyed Joe
those Bettles had one Big horn on there head? Naw, they looked like a big dark brown mechanical beetle. Their legs were about an 1.25 long, and they just kind of stomped around in the sand, and their bodies were about 3 inches plus. I can't find a picture. Think of a turd with legs on it. Cotton eyed Joe
SO it Not the Mormon cricket? them things are UGLY. No not those fuckin Ten-Lined June Beetle things. God are those things disgusting. On the back road to Sand Mountain (the one that goes through Tooele and Stockton) we encountered a whole 2 lane highway full of them. There were so many, that we could hit our brakes, and the anti lock would kick in. Some were so big, that they looked kind of like small toads. I've seen them around here, and more than once you hear them WHAP WHAP WHAP WHAP flying...then THUD!!! Right into the side of the house. They lay there twitching and then they're off again. I don't know why they fly into shit like my house, or my wifes hair. LMFAO!!!!!!!
dittmer
No my friend, maybe it is you! The backboneless ATVer that wont stand united amongst other ATVers and fight for our right to recreate peacefully without some *****ot ass treehugger or some busybody wanting to shut us down and make the very few remaining legal (except for riding in green space of coarse ) fun things illegal, that is contributing to the demise of the ATV! Trespasing is not standing up for our rights, so no I will not stand up with you or anyone that thinks riding in restricted places is the way to get back at the tree hugers. All I am tring to say is IF YOU DONT OWN IT OR HAVE PERMISION FROM THE OWNER YOU SHOULDNT TOUCH IT! This goes for many things in life not just land My Dad taught me that at a real young age. i sure do wish more people felt that way. I get so tired of people riding on my property.I had the same problems as every one else when it comes to riding so i bought 8.5 acres to play on. this mite sound like alot of land but it is not. i have trails going around my property and house i have a big hill to ride and a dry creek to jump but not enough room to open the shee up. my point is i come home from work and find fuckin idiots riding around my house. when i ask the fucking idiots if they own the property they look and slowly say no, at this point i always ask, then why the f*ck are you here? and its always the same bullshit. we saw the trails and thought it was cool to ride. They dont think about my 2 dogs tearing up my house going from window to window to see what the f*ck is going on. So i have asked them not to ride my property face to face and do you think they stoped? f*ck no they keep riding and then start riding the hey fields on top of the hill . so now farmer brown is pissed at me and atvs. he thinks it was me.I have no trespassing signs all over. Do people pay any atention f*ck NO! The right to recreate peacefully does not give use the right to ride any place we want. anti atv people often NEED to use lies against us, but if we go breaking the law and pissing people off they dont need lies anymore. they will have real reasons for screwing us over Theres lots of other atvers in my community that ride the same trail down to the creek, I wasn't the first. I taked to everybody within 1/4 mile of my house and the trail and they all said they were cool with my riding and I respectfully put around real slow near the houses. This one is like telling a traffic cop other poeple where speeding too. This mite be true but your still getting a ticket. I just wanted to convey how "busy body" and up in your business some people are. The P.O.A. sent me another letter a couple months before with an actoual picture, taken with a digital camera, of my garbage can in front of my garage, in my concrete driveway, between the 2 garage doors, pasted into the text of the lettter. They informed me that there was a rule that you had to have the garbage can behind the "front line" of the house. Yes I know people suck I bought the house because of the location and the fact that it was a brand new house in the country and not in the city. Do you know what property prices are like in CA. You probably couldn't sell your house in Misouri and buy 1 cars worth of my 3 car carage. sounds like CA. sucks too you should move to mo. Meanwhile, the contractors are building houses at a record setting rate and dumping crushed rock and landscape materials in the friggin road next door and has left it there for a whole month. One new house always means more new houses. This kind of crap is common with new construction Didnt you look to see how many home lots were around you before you moved? As for wrecking property, its green space so nobody actually owns it and the only people I have ever seen use it are atvers because it's too steep to for the lazy asses in my community to hike down the trail to the creek so they all just walk up and down the road in front of the houses on the ridge tops scoping out everyones business. I have never herd of property that nobody owns. somebody has to own the property like the community or gov. it sounds like your the lazy ass that wont go to a legal riding area I thought you said the trails were out of sight? I would still like to know if you would have stoped if they had asked in person?
99screaminshee
if every1 minded their own business and didnt worry about what other people r doin every thing would be fine around here people dont dare bitch cuz of the atvs becuz we all ride on each others property i say if the tree huggers dont like me rippin up plants and squashin field mouse homes they should come see me and tell me that not call more tree huggers and smoke sum dope and go suck the government off they should see me 1 on 1 and i would tell them hippies suck dont come back or u will never leave this land again as for all the spineless atvers out there u mite as well go smoke dope and blow the governtment too becuz 1 day they r gonna try to stop US from usin OUR land so f the hippies, tree huggers, and all the spineless atvers that r out there STAND UP FOR UR RIGHTS TO USE OUR LAND ITS NOT THE GOVERNMENT IF IT WASNT FOR US PAYIN TAXES THE GOVERNMENT WOULD NOT EXIST
Ducman
Dittmer, I know that you are mostly right, I won't argue that the sole use of private property doesn't belong to its owner. My family owns probably a combined 400 ac so I know how it is. The green belt land is owned by the property owners association so in a way I own a piece of it and I want to ride on my piece. This is probably not the type of community that you are thinking of, it is an unusual gated community. Its has a very low housing density and it is in a very rural area. I only have about 8 neighbors that live within 1/4 mile of my house, although there are a lot of buildable lots accross the road and beside me but none behind my house, each lot can only be bordered on either side, not in back. If any of my neighbors had a problem I would certainly quit riding any where near them, but they are not the ones complaining, just some jackass that probably doesn't even live on my street who wants to be the neighborhood cop and hapened to drive by while I was washing the banshee. My family has owned property on the other side of the creek for over 50 years now and has never objected to people using the creek and its banks on their property for horse back riding, quads or hikers, and no other property owners on the creek does either. This is because it has been the same owners for decades and won't sell to any liberal Bay area assholes swimming in money because they are all there to stay. You can ride for probably 50 miles up the creek bank when the water is low enough in the summer to cross the creek and nobody tries to fence it off, you couldn't because the creek floods every winter and washes everything away. Hundreds of people use the creek to recreate and nobody tries to stop them cause it is understood that this is the way that it has always been and this is the way it will be in the future. If I have to push the quad 100 yards and coast down the hill I will be riding in the creek. If I have to leave the bansh across the creek at my Uncles, i will be riding in the creek. I drove 8 hrs in an RV each way this weekend to go riding and I didn't go outside the doon boundaries or ride on the restricted beach so put that in your hill billy bong and smoke it!
