Cotton eyed Joe
I haven't seen or heard from Ben yet. Me him and Fixit left at the same time, and I passed them on highway 160, and never looked back. (sorry guys I had to piss baaaaaaaaaaaad) Apparently he made it to the airport to drop off Fixitrod, so I dunno.... He said something about sleeping in the parking lot of a casino or something. BenBB
I'm back at the salt mine too, made it as far as Flagstaff and stayed at a Super 8 Tuesday night, left there at 6:30am and got to Roswell at 4pm Monday. Work is just as bad as I thought it would be after a week off...but DAMN that was one hell of a week off!!!! Words can't do it justice, I had one hell of a good time. Don't know what else to say, it was unreal; the dunes, weather, ridin', racing, meeting everyone and having fun... WHEN'S THE NEXT ONE?!! mrmatt
We made it back yesterday morning at 9:30 after driving all night. I was supposed to be at work at 8:00. So we unloaded real quick, I took a shower, and headed in. I only lasted four hours at work before I went home to bed. In the 64 hours that we were on the road, the only carnage that we had was one truck headlight, the trailer wiring harness, and one trailer tire explosion. I'm already trying to figure out how to go next year. There has got to be an easier way, the drive sucked big time, but it was totally worth it. Damn that sounds good. I just finished off my last can of Campbells stew I brought back from the trip. I felt like a stray dog with everyone handing out food. All I can say is the beer in the mini keg was good, and so was the cherry chocolate cake. BUT I'm still pissed off I went to bed early the first night and missed out on the apple crisp and ice cream

Everybody just send your shees to me EXACTLY !!!! have your banshees shipped out here. i have access to about 5 trailers. wallrat can make a airport run and pick everyone up and we roll up from here, about a 2 1/2 hour drive. space and arrangements are not a problem we have to do this again so keep it in mind. later

Zodo
mrmatt, one of the times that I rode at the Badlands last year there was a Artic Cat dealer from Ill. that said that they would haul quads to any riding area in the US if enough people were going. They had 2 different haul trucks, one was a 1 ton Dodge with an enclosed trailer and the other was a semi with an enormus enclosed trailer. I have their business card somewhere, I'll have to find it. I did ask if they would go to Glamis and he said if I could get 6 or more to go he would do it. He didn't say too much about the rates since the gas prices are all over the place.
