locogato11283
eric gorr did my cr500 engine and my brothers engine. he can do any kind of port for any kind of fuel. check out his website. Eric Gorr my brothers all round port cost about 225. i thought it was very reasonable and definetely well worth the money. his banshee screams now. thebloker
I also had mine done by Dan over at patriot racing. The finish of the port work was amazing, but what really set him apart from others was the customer service. He is was crazy busy at the time, and probably still is, but took the time to answer all of my emails, kept his word about when things were going to be finished, and even went the extra mile to overnight my package at no extra cost when it came down to crunch time. Even now when I have questions about jetting and whatnot, he still responds lighting quick and helps me out as much as humanly possible where there is no real obligation to do so. I don't think that there is one person who has one bad thing to say about either his work or customer service. Worth every penny and probably then some. fixitrod
What type of riding. I couldn't believe how banshee 370's bike ran with the mp350 porting. He does run an extended swingarm and doesn't weigh much, has an egt to check jetting, all the above lol, but he pretty much owned comp hill at dumont. I have a rec/mx port done by Andy at grand river racing and I was doing really good at the hill but I have a 4mm stroker. I just need to get down my starts. I can't imagine what his drag port is like. The problem with a question like the one your asking is there are 100's of good builders out there. Most of us have only had 1 or 2 ported motors to compare too. If I say Andy and someone says Jim and I'm running different pipes or carbs... that could be a factor in the difference of power. Good Luck on your search.
