We're talking like 10 minutes of moderate riding at least before it will even think about screaming. I've got 240 jets in it now and am going to take a plug reading tomorrow. Its got the Toomey T5's, very very ported engine, large carbs (who knows why...), and intake. I have a hunch its jetted too rich. They're mikuni carbs. nater006 Posted March 10, 2004 Author Report Share Posted March 10, 2004 Oh, yeah. The size it came jetted as was a 220. Apparently these are sized up in 10 increments...? Everybody i asked and consulted w/ith said to raise it a couple sizes for the winter just to be safe so I dumped in a couple 240's. Just more info I forgot to mention...
