Anyone Have Any Experience With Pro Comp 409 Kit?

Recommended Posts

Im thinking of buying a banshee with a 409 pro comp kit on it but Im wondering what else needs to be done to make sure everything else holds up. Under that power Im worried about loosing clutches, trannies, cranks, and shit like that.

what do you think???

I asked about this kit in the "Repairs and Mods" a week or so ago and didn't get much response. The only response I received was based on the cylinder walls being thinner and the possibility of it getting hotter, but no one responded with any actual facts.

The majority of your components will be fine. Your clutches can handle more than that, same with the crank and trannie. There are people who throw a hell of a lot more power in them than that with no problems.
