91twin350 Posted March 9, 2004 Report Share Posted March 9, 2004 ok my banshee has been acting screwie since i bought it when i got to put it in gear and pull the clutch in it acts like there isnt a clutch there, and when i turn the fly wheel it is hanging up the guy at a performance shop said it might be the bearing in my crank are bad but i dunno i have a brand new dirtdigger clutch in it and i fixrd the grove marks on basket so i need some help here Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

nater006 Posted March 9, 2004 Report Share Posted March 9, 2004 Well, if the clutch is stuck engaged you won't be able to turn the flywheel when the quad is in gear. Might want to tear that clutch out when you have a few minutes and make sure everything is in it in the right order. Haven't ripped a Banshee clutch out in a long time so I don't remember how many wear and friction plates there are but.. get your manual and make sure everything is in there right. When you pull the lever, is there tension? e.g., does it feel the same as before this problem happened, or is it really loose and easy to pull?
