beatmiester Posted March 6, 2004 Report Share Posted March 6, 2004 i'm looking at a 97 banshee for sale and the top of the case is missing above the sprocket is there any kit or part made to repair this? i have been looking at a lot of banshee's and either there all modd's or there junk leaking oil worn bearings isnt there anything out there for under $3000.00 ? MotulMonsta Posted March 6, 2004 Report Share Posted March 6, 2004 That part of the case is worthless..my case is the same way been like that for the last 8 years..happened when my chain wraped around the sprocket..if it isn't leaking, it doesn't matter. beatmiester Posted March 7, 2004 Author Report Share Posted March 7, 2004 this guy wants 1700 for this thing and it is ruff all a/arm bushings and swing arm bearings are worn needs front wheels leaking oil out of the shifter seal its got fatty pipes boost bottle,full skids all the plastic and it is complete and runs good starts on the 3rd kick from cold i'm up in the air if its worth it and its a 97 what do you think ? i figured it would cost me with a top end rebuild about 600.00.. to make it perfect what do you think?
