jrm312
that should work , but if you want to add the idle kit u would have to by the idle screws , their 5.00 bucks a peice, yopu will have to unplug the black box and tors wires , do a search there is lots of info on this site. Blue Duece
shit can all of it...... those new tops are for your twist to go straight into the carbs and pull the slides up and down, if you dont understand it, take it to a shop, under a 100 bucks someone will install it for you, they will aslo tap your carbs for an idle adjustment..... Dune Ratt
The TORS is a peice of crap that works kind of like a throtle positioning sensor. If the slides in the carbs are stuck in the open position the TORS will cut the ignition. It also serves as a rev limiter. It was put on the quad to cut the amount of Lawsuits Yammaha would get. The problem is that it is a peice of $hi+ and malfunctions half the time causing more problems than good. DITCH IT!!!!!
SICK BOY
The tors will help you out racing the same as if you straped a brick to your grab bar. But really ditch those things as soon as you can,the money you'll spend on the kit is well worth all the problems you'd have down the road with the tos. Wassup350
TORS stands for Throttle over ride sensor i beleive if that further answers your question. Every wire that is related to it, disconnect.

Nightrider
Its been 3 years and I have no problem to report with my TORS system. Its just like anything else,if you don't maintain it,sooner or later its not going to work. I take the covers off once a year to clean out the housings.Periodically cleaning and regreasing the electrical connections will also prevent electrical problems. Mine will stay on as long as they keep working properly or I upgrade to better carbs.
