MotulMonsta
Don't waste your money. The aluminum pegs won't hold up.
locogato11283
do they really not hold up well? i always thought ac racing stuff was good shit.
MotulMonsta
After about a year, they will be trash. Pegs will be worn down to the tube..that is if they last that long. AC wants you to belive that. Look at how many racers still run their pro-pegs. Not many.
rebelbanshee2
i think the new ones have steel inserts. If they dont they they suck. My brothers wore off his in about 3 months. They also fit like crap and woble. POS in my opinion

Lepew
What other options is there if you want to run a heel gaurd with nerfbars? I was looking at the new A/Cs but I waiting to see them in person. I'm not to impressed now. I would probably go with a set of nerfs if i could still use my stock heel gaurds with the plastic too. Is there any nerfs that would work?
MotulMonsta
Heel guards are for pussies. They look ugly, hold mud and add weight.
00BANSHEE
Heel guards are for pussies. They look ugly, hold mud and add weight. LOL, damn dude you really hate those AC nerfs don't ya?
Lepew
I don't ride in the mud and if I was worried about weight I wouldn't ride a banshee. I'll probably still look at the a/c nerfs for a final judgement. For my casual riding I doubt I will break or wear them out like a motocrosser who would put them thru extreme service. ranshee
I just got back from my first trip with them and already the spikes on the pegs are starting to wear down. Also when I put them on (or attempted to) they gave real hard time. Something that should have taken a hour or less took me three hours and four beers. Also have to replace a cressent wrench do to real hard impact with cement floor.
Big Blue
three hours and four beers, you need to pick up the pace.
