nickxc
Last year yamaha changed the blaster plastic to make it look more modern and sleeker and now they have put the warrior in a raptor style body and call it a raptor 350. Do you think they will do anything with the banshee next year or are they just gunna fase it right out???

Do you think they will do anything with the banshee next year or are they just gunna fase it right out??? nope. the banshee is what it is till it's gone, which will probably be the '05 model year. I know there've been rumors of phasing out for awhile. A friend has connections to the factory and says they are stopping production in December and will sell all remaining inventory in '05. Will the banshee change? No.

Ducman
Does anybody know if there has ever been a massive group effort or letter writing campaign to beg Yamaha to throw some power valves, stroker crank and/or some up to date shocks on a new banshee model and not charge anymore $? BansheeBrian
The best case is they might throw on some more aluminum stuff but thats about it.I have also thinkin they should go out with P.V's.That's about it.Put the 86 and the 2006 side by side and see if you know the diff. die_infidel
I would think and in a way hope it stays the same. Although since some companies are coming out with raptor plastics for the shee it may trigger yamaha to wanna redesign the shee before it goes. I don't think they would change it though, because if they wanna get rid of it soon changing the look before it goes would be a bad idea. Not to mention yammy wouldn't dump money into the shee just to get rid of it. They would have consumers begging to bring back the shee cause they like new design. Who knows well just have to see. MotulMonsta
Yamaha has the Banshee replacement already..the 660 raptor. I'd expect a few suprises from yamaha for the last year model of the banshee. The yfz450 fliped everybody's lid..came out from nowhere.
