Doodle
I was wondering approximately how much coolant does the radiator require? Also does it make any difference if you run regular anti-freeze or something like Cycle Logic Engine Ice. I bought some of that expensive stuff and it says it's supposed to really reduce engine heat. I guess I'll find out.
pimp559
It depends on where you live. If it gets below freezing where you live you will want to use straight antifreeze. If you live in a warmer climate you can safely use the engine ice. I just noticed your location. You should probably use the straight antifreeze in winter and the ice in the summer. I guess I'll find out. All I use is Engine Ice period. Really good shit. As far as how much, I don't have my manual here, but I can find out tomorrow if no one posts it. If you don't have one, the very first thing you should buy is a service manual for you banshee. It is imperative to have and you'll refer to it a hundred times a day, maybe only fifty if your not as dumb as I am. Get one on Ebay, or from your dealer, but you must get one. frocashmoney24
get about 3 quarts, start puttin it in there, when it gets up to the top keep the cap on and start the banshe, let it run though the system and all the air bubbles will run though the top, then fill it to the top again , let the air come out again, and you should be good
nater006
If you're flushing it, don't forget the two drainbolts on the block. It takes a lil less than 3 qts usually, if you've done a good job draining it.
