Whats It Worth?

Recommended Posts

I have a 1991 Banshee. The Banshee has fmf pipes, dg nerf bars, k&n, tors removed carbs, boost bottle, renthal handlebars, pro design tether kill switch, itp holeshot tires and rims, twist throttle, plasics have been race cut, i painted them all black, and shocks green, were an ugly color before, top end just rebuilt, about 15 hours on rebuild, and 99 banshee stock length lower a-arms with adjustable ride height.

God Damb!! When I was looking for a banshee 6 monthes ago I couldn't touch anything that was worth owning for less than $4K within Northern CA or Oregon, so I just said screw it and bought a new one. Maybe its just CA or something?

I'd be willing to spend about 3 grand if I was looking. I mainly check for wear and tear, wiring harness(If it's clean and not modded..good sign), amount of rust in those hard to reach and see areas. Bearing condition.the less slop the more money I'll spend..and motor condition..if it's got a coolhead I'll subtract money...more moded the motor, the less I'l pay...unless it was done good...then I'd take the mods into consideration...but that also means the machine was beat on and ridden hard. Clean the rust off those pipes and polish it up a bit..you could get more cash.
