twinpipes
Hey, just bought an '04 Banshee with Toomey t6 pipes. I had to quiet them down a bit with the Toomey Hush kit, (spark arrester included). Does anyone know what jetting changes need to be done? I am having problems starting, and low end power is dimenished. I am riding at sea level at this time. Thanks, Joe
SDD
What are your jetting specs right now? When I added the hush kit it idled fine but did have a lowend stumble when reving it up. I didn't need to rejet but I did add a timing key and bumped up the compression a bit. Once I did that stuff the stumble went away. I believe you can rejet the stumble out but I didn't bother. MotulMonsta
Toomey says you won't need to rejet with the hush kit
twinpipes
The shop jetted with the needle on the 4th groove, 280 main jet, standard pilot jet #25, and air screw 1.5 turns. Thanks for the input

Thanks, Joe If your having problems starting and low power, play with your pilot jet some. Put in a 27.5 and see if that helps. I'd say 4th on the needle is good, but as easy as they are to play with, you might try 3rd just for giggles, it may help.
