Clamp on on the ends of the carb put a lot of stress on the intake boot. If your not carfull, you'll pop a carb out under heavy abuse, particularly MX. knight_ripper Posted March 19, 2004 Report Share Posted March 19, 2004 I went to town on my airbox....cutting the end off and using it for the bottle. I also cut away the middle of the box, completely exposing the K@N. I left the front on, so Im running a 2:1. Works great. And I dont have to worry about the weight on the carbs....cause the stock airbox has those flanges on the front for barring the weight. Heres the instructions http://kuoi.asui.uidaho.edu/~john/tips.html why keep the bottle in the back when it just siphons itself empty.
