ok my sprokets are getting worn out and I need to replace them. As usual I need some more botttom end. I have pipes,Kn, port and polish. milled head.

It runs great just want a little more if im going to replace them anyway.

Any suggestion for the dunes on both sprokets. Need to know how many teeth on each. more low end please?

honestly, sprockets are one of those things that differ in opinion. some like low gearing and some like high gearing. You have to find out what you and your shee like.

I buy only the cheapest steel sprockets, usually JT from Magic Racing, or Primary Drive from RMATV. $15 per rear and $7 per front. Get several front and several rear and play around till you find whats right for you.

I run a 15 front all the time, and fine tune the rear. Currently its the stock 41. I have 39, 40 and 42 rear sprockets. When I go to the dunes, I'll gear it down a touch. The best way to know is trial and error.

if you are stock geared right now try gearing down one tooth up front. see if thats enough for you. if not try another tooth up front. thats prolly gonna be too low for you tho. when i had the banshee engine in mine i has 12/41 gearing. it was pretty low but i liked it. i had more range of lower gears for about every type of hill. if i were you i think id just go down one in front. use the front for big adjustments and the rear for fine tuning. to go lower, u go down in front and up in the rear. higher is just the opposite. does this answer your question?

If I do great.

If imbuying them should I go up one in the rear?

Change the front tooth first and see how you like that. If you want more, then up the rear one, then two, and so on.

Watch out with the 12 tooth front sprockets, I won't run them because I keep breaking them. If you have an after market chain slider, you might end up munching sprockets like I have. Seems the angle is wrong and the chain will pop, causing the teeth to crack. A 13 tooth is about the smallest I'd run. I run 13/42 on 20 in rear tires. Tire size plays an importand role as well. If you run 18's your gearing will be way differnt than say 22 in tires.

what kind of sprocket was it that you were running? i never had any problems with mine and it was $7 primary drive from RMATV. i ran it for about 2 years hard.
