frocashmoney24
ive had the same ongoing problem, first i though it was the clutch as the plates were broken where those gears would be, switched it nothing, then i tore apart the bottom end to see if it was te gear forks or drum, nope, i have come to the conclusion that my thing isent grabbing my shit star notches, anyone know why? bbluebanshee
Put your shift shaft on a straight edge. I would bet it has a little wow to it. Replace it and it should shift fine. Mine had the exact same problem at the beginning of summer last year. Hope this helps!! too bad you already tore apart the bottom end. It is a really easy fix! i think my new shift shaft cost like 38 bucks.
03 ORANGE SHEE
found the problem, the two ears that contact the shift star, wouldnt return because there the spring on the "ears" on the shaft got hooked somehow on the outer edge of one of the ears, sounds odd,but it was as easy fix!!thanks!!
