Low End Bog

90lbs does sound really low. I think banshee76179 is right about the 120 to 130lb range stock. Also, I just got my Banshee last friday and went riding this past weekend. I guess the bog would be normal because that is exactly what mine does but then it clears out. It almost feels like your riding an 80 until the powerband kicks in. :D

Nothing you can do with the stock carbs is going to clear that bog..it's caused by the engine's thirst for more air. it isn't getting enough. If you roll the throttle slow and smooth, there is no bog, if you pin it there is. It's restriction causing it. Aftermarket pipes and reeds will help to eliminate it along with removal of the snorkel and minor airbox mods.

Mine bogs a bit right before the transition into the powerband. I didn't know if my jetting was spot on or if this was normal, my neighbor whos pretty good with jetting sez I should drop the needles down a spot to lean out the transition. I will try this and report back. I'm not sure if what you are describing is the same as what my bike does but it sounds the same. It tends to bog out right after you lay into it. I have toomeys, uni-pods with outterwears, 330 mains, stock needles and pilots.

Unless your at a higher elevation, 3rd clip from the top/blunt end should work great, I've even got mine on the 4th and I don't really have too many mods.

If it's higher than 1/4 throttle then your pilot might not do much. I'd check the needle. They're real easy to adjust so don't be afraid to richen and lean. The minimum I'd go is 3rd clip.
