locogato11283
the kick starter deal is a pain in the ass. sometimes they get stuck and dont wanna come out because im guessing the ball wears the kick starter down, makin it hard to get out. holyman at one time was rebuilding peoples kickers for free. check with him on how to fix it. as for the engine problem, are you sure there is nothing in the carb?? have you checked to make sure its gettin gas ok? there could be something holding up the gas. thats the only reason i can think of as to why the right isnt running like the left if you say compression is ok. MotulMonsta
It's a banshee thing that damn kickstarter. If water get's in it it will rust and become difficult. If it's only the right you need to check your carbs for dirt/ debris, fload adj..check the reeds.they go bad...and if you fried the rings you'll need a rebuild. Try disconecting the tors..a faulty toors will mess with the ignition and cause weird problems. Also carb syncronization might be out...check it. It could be something simple as a clogged jet. Your fuel lines could be run wrong causing the right to loose fuel.
knight_ripper
I have to kick mine with the heel of my boot while pulling on it. The kickstarter on Banshee's is probably the one thing they need to replace for good. I am on my second one. You can purchase the rebuild kits for 10-15 bucks from Rocky Mountain or Chaparral. But, I am on my second one of those as well. I am about to go get a new one alltogether cause Im sick of kickin my engine, and rappin my knuckles.
