I need some help on finding a way to hook this camcorder into my comp. It's got a plug that says S-Video and it's round, but all the chords I can find are square, so where would be a good place to find one? I've been every where around where I live looking.. Local Computer shops and what not and they all have told me I have to buy the All-in-wonder graphics card that's like $500 bucks. Anyone wanna help me out here and tell me where I can find one of these chords.. Cuz i really don't want to spend that much money for a damn card :[

You should be able to get a connector to hook into what you got to plug into a usb port on your computer. Most new computers have an s-video input, my new Dell here @ work has one right on the front along with 2 usb ports. Just a though...ask you computer shop if they could hook ya up with one of those. Sounds like they're eager for income.

You would want an alalog to digital converter. This device will take an alnalog signal and convert it to digital (and vice versa), you then would take the firewire cable and plug it into your computers firewire port. Now you would need video editing software such as ULEAD or Pinnacle to edit the video. Windows XP may have some sort of software with the OS. Unfortunately the converter (link above) isnt cheap, there may be cheaper ones out there, but these are the ones we use at work. You would almost be better off buying a new digital camera that comes with the software and cables. Now, if your computer is older, it may not be able to handle the video editing part. You would need at least 256MB ram and probably 1.5GHZ processor or better, also you will have to have about 10Gigs of Hard drive space. If you dont already have a firewire card (looks similar to a USB but it is not the same) kind of wedge shaped on one side, you will need to get one of those for your comp. (about 20-50$ depending where you look). So good luck and if you have any more questions please send me an IM, I will be happy to help you out,
