How Reliable Are Banshees?

Recommended Posts

shit i wouldnt sell my o2 for less than 12 grand .......let alone throw in a second bike....but if i was selling mine, id offer to have you fly out, go ride for the day, meet my kids, pet my dog, and help you crate it up and get it to the shipper, after we qued up some burgers and shot the shit for a while.....this guy dont sound good to me......

I also think that if he is asking you to "hurry up and wire him the money", that sounds like a bad deal. If I remember right, wire transfers are against eBay policy. Not 100%, but I think thats a good indication that its a bad deal.

If I was selling something 100% legit, I would want the prospective buyers to feel at ease buying, not pressured into it. I would want them to be able to contact me, and like Deuce said, pet my dog (I don't have a dog, maybe one of the neighbor hood strays), come up to the shop and bs for a while, etc.

This guy sounds like he's just trying to get you to do the deal NOW NOW NOW. Yeah, ask him if a little old lady just stopped by to look at his banshee's and if she was really interested in buying.

You're smart to think about looking for a local used. B) That way you can atleast sit on the damn thing, inspect the frame and grab bar for bends creases and cracked paint.

I have a 97 shee that i bought used 2 years ago. It was all good for 2 months and then my clutch arm broke and i had nothing but problems from there for about a year and a half. I've came to the conclusion of selling the shee and getting a brand new one. im gonna trade it in and use that money on a down payment for a new one and finance the rest.

says who. The only reason the dealerships push them is because they're a guaranteed money maker. In the service shop that is, and that ain't no shit.

A friend of mine is the svc. manager at a Honda / Polaris shop and he says the owner pushes the hell out of the Polaris just for that reason, they'll be back in no time.
