I was gonna get my cpi pipes hopefully. Do those come with some type of spark arrestor or do they make one to put in or do i gotta rig something??? I wanna go to silver lake and i know they check for spark arrestors and i don't wanna use stock pipes& silencers.

I can't believe nobody has spark arrestors for after market pipes. For how strict the laws are and I know alot of you go to silver lake just how in the hell do you make it in there with no spark arrestors??? There has to be something guys or some kinda trick to fool the damn DNR into having spark arrestors in my silencers. I got a trip planned as soon as snow goes and need to find a pipe set up to fit those damn dum laws.

I want cpi's with my port job and the mods i have, but the only thing stopping me from buying them is no mention of spark arrestors. I'm hoping someone could help me solve this. Do they make some type of spark kit i could use?? If not then i'm afraid tr6's with toomey hush is my only other option. :(

What is the diameter of the silencer core? Not the stinger tube but the core itself? You might be able to adapt a Hush kit onto the CPI pipes.

Just buy the sparkys, 60 bucks a piece, they look like shit but they will work with CPI's And do not go with the Tomeys, if you motor is ported than it will not run!!! TR6 pipes do not work with a ported motor!!!!! they are junk, if you dont believe me, do a Dyno test!!, I have seen it

thanks for the help guys i looked into those cobra sparkys and thats what i want. As for the looks i have no choice just as long as i can get into parks with em. I plan on a port job with the cpi's.

i know of a couple peolpe that have riged some. the rangers put a stick into the pipe so make a x out of cotter pins or small bolts and put a little screen over it if you want to get real fancy if the stick stops in the pipe they think you have it just an option i have seen it done and been there when they tested it and it passed.

The bolt on arrestors will work fine, but you will still be over the legal limit of DB 96 at silver lake with either Toomeys or CPI's, you still wont get onto the dunes, the toomeys with hit somewhere around 112-119 without the hush kit and the CPI's I have seen them range between 102-109 so you better be carefull!!!
