bcowan
You may remember hearing of Ozzy Osborne's ATV accident some months ago in England, he tweaked himself real bad. His body guard who was riding with him saved his life. Since then I have been wondering what went on. Was it a drug and alcohol stupor on a Trailblaster or some "hunting" type rig? Or was it a respectable heavy metal high speed Banshee "get off"? Well, this is to inform you that tonight's Prime Time on ABC will show that it WAS a BANSHEE! Truly a happy day for Banshee owners worldwide. I'm just so proud of Ozzy!

Shee_Rookie
yeah, I seen the preview for tonight and they showed him take off and I noticed that it had two pipes and you could kinda hear it pinging. I said to my wife, He was riding a Banshee !!!! No wonder his old ass got hurt. Too much power for a first timer, not to mention his age and state of mind (hehe). Don't get me wrong I think OZZY rocks , but he shouldn't be ridin a Banshee all crazy and stuff. Can't wait to see that tonight!

locogato11283
ohh great. now we can all hear about how atvers should all take a training course and get certified to ride. sorry but all you guys under 16 will be riding lt80s and raptor 80s now. no but seriously, people like ozzy should set nowhere near any kind of vehicle that uses anything but man power to get moving. someone should build him a banshee that he can put his feet down and make go. its just another way for us to get screwed out ofp laces to ride and what not. especially since its gonna be on national tv. .
hey....good for him for riding a banshee.....I hope when I'm as old and whacked as him that I can still throw my leg over a shee and almost kill myself. Hopefully in the program he'll stick up for the 4wheeler. Guess we'll have to see. Something like....Back in 89 when I had my first shee it was the time of my life hitting second gear and kicking it sideways around a corner.....I just forgot how fast they are and how old I am....it was my fault. sredish
Didn't you guys ever see the "Osbournes" episode where the son and a friend went back to the England farm and they were riding the banshee all over the farm? It was bone stock by the way. This episode was quite a while ago.

bcowan
Good point . This is an opportunity for Ozzy to put the sport in a positive light. However, I saw the preview and ABC was running and they included stats like 76% increase in ATV accidents since 1996 or something. Also the preview included a question to Oz "did you have a helmet on"? Ozzy said no. So, my point of my original post - that the accident now looks like it was attributed to somewhat of an experienced rider doing some high speed thrill seeking and not just a novice "f" up gives us Banshee riders someone to identify with. It sort of adds to a sterotype. I'm afraid however, that ABC's presentation will only include the sport's downsides. So, now I'm just hoping for some positive things to come out. I'm afraid however, that ABC's presentation will only include the sport's downsides. Did they mention the HUGE increase in atv sales it was like way over 100%, can't remember, but way more than that. And it made the increase in accidents actually go down per riders if you looked at the whole picture. I'm sure ABC and whoever else will do their best to put their ignorant ass out on a limb and be a dumb-furking know-it-all and tell us how dangerous everything is, and how irresponsible it is to let young kids on to these deathtraps. What a freaking crock of shiznit. What time is that dreaded show on tonight?
mrmatt
Hopefully in the program he'll stick up for the 4wheeler. Let's hope so. But even if he does, no one will be able to understand it anyway.
