evil Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 there great. i used a set in a desert race when they first started coming around and held up very well. i hit a rock is a turn and thought they were done for, but to my surprize they held up, look cool, and work !!! ill be getting another set here shortly. and welcome to the hq. later Quote

bpreuss Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 i was up at a huge atv and snowmobile swapmeet by the twin cities here in minnesota called Haydays and i had a chance to get a set of rears for 90 bucks! but before i could get my money out some other guy lunged in front of me and bought them. i was so pissed i almost knocked him out! I have been hit several times and they still didnt brake, and they still look good. I hear that hyper- tech is in a law suit about some copy right laws on the rims and they are not selling them right now. I had a guy offer me a grand for mine after I heard that I had to tell him to go get bent . If you can get a set I would say get them you will not be sorry. Quote

I think im going to go for the 8" with the integrated hub..since I do ride alot of MX..any thoughts on that? I havent had any experience with them ..so any advice is sure welcome tonie Quote
2001SSTBanshee Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 I got mine when they first came out, too. They only made 9's. Thats what their R&D showed to be the best, even for MX. You can always get an 18x11x9 and be the same height as 18x11x8. The same set that was on my bansee is now on my YFZ. They've taken some abuse and never had a prob. Quote
