kingbanshee_73 Posted February 18, 2004 Report Share Posted February 18, 2004 I am new to this site and figured if anyone would know it would be you guys.Just blew up my shee and need a new crank and pistons. any suggestions on brands or where to find. i plan on putting on dual k&n filters and pt mid pipes if that will help with suggestions. also would like to stay with stock crank and not stroke it. screamin'twin Posted February 18, 2004 Report Share Posted February 18, 2004 i would problably go with wiseco pistons for the top end, i rebuilt mine not to long ago and used pro-x pistons they are all good brands. as for the crank i would go the extra way and get a hot rod crank that way if you ever get cool heads and bumb up the compression you wont have to worry about having problems the stock crank. i heard that the ptr's work good with porting too. rocky mountain atv sells wiseco pistons for 65 a piece or get a complete top end rebuild kit with gaskets and everything for problably around 150 to 250 depending on brand. a new hot rods crank from dennis kirk is 500 you can prob get that alot cheaper if you look around tho. hope this helps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
