bansheewizard
does neone have turf tamers on there banshee and how do they work in the woods ?
ledofthezep
For MX or hardpack surfaces they're great. For woods riding I dunno that I'd go with them, not the best in the mud & I belieive they're only like 2ply. For hardcore woods riding/racing I'd go with at least a 4ply tire. Razrs & Holeshot XC's are great for woods, as well as other off brands that are cheaper.

Razrs & Holeshot XC's are great for woods Agreed, best for MX and hardpacked ground. They are really light weight too, thats cause they're only 2ply and like Led said.... they're not the ideal woods tire. Iv went through a few sets of Turf Tamers and they're one of my favorite tires, they slide really good, they're not rounded\ballon type of a tire. You can actually feel the lighter wieght when your riding, and they really really hook up good. They hook better than my Razrs'. Some guys will say they wear down pretty fast, but I dont know about that, they are a softer than normal compound, but I think my Razr's and Holeshots wore faster. The biggest bitch about Turf Tamers is the punture prone 2 ply design. Not ideal for woods and rocks. The Razr 2 rear tires and Holeshot XCR tires are better woods tires.
