Holyman
OK here's the deal... My wife got some tickets from a friend of hers to go to Vegas to see Celine Dione. The problem is that her friends husband had to have surgery and she can't go now. SO I have to go. I've never been to Vegas but we're going to be there for a day or 2 and then fly to Sausalito CA. to visit family for a day or 2. Is there ANYTHING ATV related in those areas that I can go and do or see that will make this trip worth SOMETHING?

Is there ANYTHING ATV related in those areas that I can go and do or see that will make this trip worth SOMETHING? You are so screwed. Is there any chance you can sell them, and get tix for The Blue Man Group? If you are going to be there for a few days, check out the digs on the strip. New York New York is kinda cool with its roller coaster. I'd ride it if I were you I also liked the M&M Factory, but $15.00/lb for "custom" M&M's is kinda ridiculous. Stay away from Circus Circus....total dump IMHO For the most part, a hotel casino is a hotel casino, but they are still fun to visit. Check out that Treasure Island thing out in front. You'll see the mobs of people waiting. Its aight if you've never seen it. There are probably some buggy manufacturers out there you could go visit, but after 15 minutes of checking out $80,000 buggys, its time to move on. There's a Walmart in Henderson. Uh....go rent some of those little Italitan scooters (across from the Mirage I'm thinking) and attempt to cruise up and down the strip. Are you flying straight in to LV? If you happen to stop in SLC first, then go to LV, sit on the left side of the plane, and you'll be able to see a birds eye view of Sand Mountain Utah. You can see the razor back, and a few quads if you are lucky. I've seen it from 33,000 feet now about 4 times and its kinda coo.
fixitrod
When are you going. You could run and check out dumont . It's about two hrs though. Man I can't wait until march 3rd. I'm fired up about roostfest.
BenBB
I'm with Fixitrod, CANNOT WAIT to hit Dumont with a night in Vegas right before...2 weeks from today and I'll be on the road. I was scoping out lasvegas.com or something and came across some ATV tours, but you're stuck on a Polaris. Would beat the hell out of pullin' a slot machine IMO. ledofthezep
Sounds like you're in for a great time. Surely there's some decent titty bars around there, go get snot-sling'n drunk; then Celine Dione won't be so bad, maybe. hehe
DUNEDEMON
Steve Abbot has an ATV related shop in Vegas, but I can't remember the name of it.
Wallrat
As soon as you land in LV, go pick up a bolt action .308. Take it to Celine's show and do your part to make the world a better place. Strip club wise, you've got Cheetahs and little darling's semi near Celine's whore house to pass the time while the cops are looking for ya. thebloker
I don't care if you have to go see Celine Dion or not, it is basically impossible to not have fun in Vegas. I have gone there more times than I can count, lost more money than I care to remember, stayed out clubbing for almost 24 hours, gotten sick many a times, and even practically raped by another man (on a side note, don't go to Vegas when Madonna is in concert and wonder where are all the women at the afterhours clubs), and the only thing that I can think of on that palne back home is 'God damn, I can't wait to go back.' Holyman
Thanks for the tips guys. A couple things... "titty bars" are NOT gonna happen. Just no way!!! Here's what's gonna happen... Fly to L.A. and then drive to Vegas then drive to San Fransisco area and the back to L.A. for a total of 7 days. We like to drive and see stuff so anything we can see other than the "titty bars" would be appreciated. BTW there's about 50 such establishments within a half hour from here so I don't need to go to Vegas to see that. When you think about it, guys and girls ALL come with standard equipment

Otis
We like to drive and see stuff so anything we can see other than the "titty bars" would be appreciated. If your up for drivin around and seeing things, Red Rock Canyon is something to see. There's a 13 mile loop you can drive, w/ rest stops and picnic areas. Hoover dam's kinda cool. I wouldn't pay to take the dam tour, but... If your into motorsports, I'm sure the speedway might have something going on, motorcycle track day, sprint cars races, karts, drags, NASCRAP...uh car..... IF you just wanna walk the strip..check out the fountains at Bellagio, or the new TI show. Both are free shows. If your into "artsy" stuff Check out the high dollar paintings at the Bellagio or The Guggenheim museum in the Venetian. Thrill rides: The New York New York and Sahara hotels have roller coasters. There's a place right next to Circus Circus that has Bungy jumping ...or if you have really big KAHONES..check out the rides at the top of the Stratosphere. oh btw, someone mantioned Steve Abbots place, it's called Quad Central
