brimstone92
do you guys take your cylinder to someone to have them honed, or do you do it yourself? and what do you do it with? i am installing vitos power pistons, and i know the bore is good. it sounds like it needs to be honed to break the glaze, so the rings can seat correctly. please let me know. thanks
0Banshee1
I took my cylinders to my local dealership and they honed both of them for $25. I also started a thread up here about honing. Just go to search and type in cylinder honing or honing. It will help you out if you're doin them yourself.
locogato11283
i would just take them to a shop or something to have them honed. if you want to try and do it yourself im sure that you can. there may even be a post about how to do it. like 0banshee1 said, try a search and see what you can find.
