FasterTHENyou
the bikes are fast enough to make it through the big weekends and down the tracks. that is what they are built for and they live just fine through it. Dan fixed the 2nd gear problem. The trick racing 4 cyl because the guys are idiots and cant make the motor stay together. LOL they run a 21 tooth front sprocket on it. Hmm wonder why it rips the cases apart....
TurbochargedOne
How many CCs are the triples?
racer
im thinkin they use the cheetah jugs from a 535. so i guess you would do (535/2)*3? that make sense to everyone else?
TurbochargedOne
Ok, so assuming they uses 535 jugs, that's 267.5ccs per jug, multiplied by 3 and we get 802.5ccs.
racer
thats what first popped into my head. but to achieve that displacement a decent amount of stroking is required, so to tell for sure we'd need the bore and stroke measurments. on a stock banshee stroke the size would be around 600, because a stock stroke cheetah is a 400. just a thought. TurbochargedOne
That's true, too. Assuming it was 802ccs (roughly 49 cubic inches), that would be just under 4hp per cubic inch.
racer
that would be just under 4hp per cubic inch. now if i could just get that out of my

These machines both came out in the early 70's. The zuki didn't perform as well as the kawi, even though more technolgy went into it. The kawi was just an air cooled motor, but made much more power. They are pretty fast in stock form, but a little port work and they become wicked. Some of the guys I used to ride against had them. Some were putting out between 170 and 200 hp, that a lot of ponies comin out of an early seventys machine. They are very interesting to watch (and hear). The only problem is getting the power to the ground. The longer the hill the faster they go !
