spoin39 Posted February 13, 2004 Report Posted February 13, 2004 What size pilot? If stock most pipes like a bigger pilot, go to a 27.5 and try again. Quote
evil Posted February 13, 2004 Report Posted February 13, 2004 put the clip back to stock, and try a 27.5 pilot like spoin mentioned and a 290 main. another thing, whats the sea level where you live ? Quote
merlin7 Posted February 14, 2004 Report Posted February 14, 2004 2 turns out is too much make it 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 turns out. If still no better up pilot to 27.5 as the others have mentioned. Merlin7 Quote
Banchetta Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 Your too lean on the air screws.....Try .5 turn out from seated.....Lean will make it hesitate, if the air screws improve a lot, then try a 27.5 pilot. My friends shee didn't like the 27.5, but yours might....leave the needle position.. Quote
STLbanshee Posted February 16, 2004 Author Report Posted February 16, 2004 Ok, you guys are all telling me different things..and Im not sure that I wanna only have my air screws at 1/2 turn out..thats not much.. Quote
Banchetta Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 What are you scared of???? You won't know unless you try it, it won't hurt anything, but could help you out a lot...... Quote
