8HONDO
does the flywheel get rebalanced or just indicated in so that it is running true
akpopeye
boonman and ron i think both take off 8 ounces when they do theres.....im pretty sure, i could be wrong lata
boonman
The flywheel gets chucked up in a lathe and turned down. 8 ounces of weight is removed from the the outer diameter of the wheel. 4.84" is the O.D. of the wheel after machining. BdBanshee
Here is a pic: I remove 8-9 ounces from the O.D. of the flywheel. Since all stock flywheels don't weigh the same the amount varies, but the finished weight is the same. I built a fixture that the flywheel fits on, I do not clamp on the flywheel. And sometimes I also add slots to lighten it up more.......
