No Limit Powersports
Just installed a noss cool head and now it won't start. It ran fine b4 but now iam not getting any spark. I got a little spark on one side but it was faint and intermitten. The headlights will flash on kicks does this mean my stator is fine? Is there any way to check the cdi or plug wires. Doesnt make sense all I did was replace the head I had to of pulled a wire loose or something but I can't find anything loose. What does the tors have to do with the spark and is this a possibility? sredish
Are you sure the orings were well in place when you installed it? How about th orings for the domes? Is the head torqued correctly? The reason I'm asking, is you could have a small leak where the compression is escaping, causing it not to start. If there isn't any compression, it won't want to start. It worked before you installed the head, and now it won't work, so something involved with the head is not working. Maybe an oring tore when you installed it causing a leak. I'd take it off and inspect it, then reinstall carefully. You can do a compression check to confirm the amount of compression.
