Shee,smoking like a freight train!!!!!!

My mods r as followed:

trinity stageIV head ported stageII

compression 150lbs. and holding

trinity stage IV 35mm keihin carb 175main,45 pilot, air screw 1 1/2 turns out

I can't get her to idle but, not worried about that right now!!!!!

plugs r "black" (wet)+ fouling I'm guessing to rich But on what

main or pilots.... reeds......?????

reeds look good not open or cracked

elevation is 600 feet

k&n air filter no lid w/drilled holes!

Fmf pipes

MSD ignition

plugs r gaped at 32 as per MSD

I run klotz racing sync. 32 to 1 and 40 to 1

 

When Shee starts It looks like I'm fogging for mosqitos(spelling?)!!!!

shee still smoking but, not as bad after shee warms up....

temp is about 30-50 deg... right now

 

Thanks if I'm leaving anything out (I betchaa I am) let me know I"m totally stumped!

It's probably because of one of the really cold mornings we've been having here in TX, and it was just not feeling up to it that day. I wouldn't worry. Its probably a little rich 'cause of the weather. If it keeps up, then maybe try doing some jetting, just make sure it's not a bad weather symptom. Mine smokes like hell when its really cold out, especially if it drops below freezing thanks to my oil separating at 32 degrees (good ol' Castro). But when its above 60, there is no smoke in sight, well not usually.
