cdw Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 my banshee has T5's, cool head 19cc, V-force reeds, reed spacers, boost bottle, +4 degree key, k&n filter, its bored .080 over which makes it a 380 cc and it really drinks the gas. I run 390 main jets and the plugs are golden brown in the summer. Its got about 150 pounds of compression and I run 94 octane fuel. I also did a little porting and polishing when I rebuilt it. Please leave suggestions with reason why. Thank you fellow riders. Quote
Aussie Quad Racer Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 The reason why is because you engine needs all that fuel to run right. You have 2 x 390 jets. That 390 = 390cc per minute maximun flow. So when your at max throttle opening and flow your pumping 780cc of juice a minute. 1000cc is 1 litre and your tank holds 12 so if you where to ride with the trottle wide open for about 15mins your tank would be empty. I would say you prob get around 1 an 1/2 hours before refill on general riding am i correct? Quote
