Justintoxicated
Hey guys, Im guesing it does not matter which way the reed gaskets go, But I noticed there is a plain side and a side with stripes, I also noticed when I removed them that one side wanted to stick more than the other, but this could have just been cowincidence. Does it matter which Way I put them?
evil
id say put the lined side on the motor, just for the hell of it. if theres no groves or anything it it and both sides are flat, then it really wont matter.
Aussie Quad Racer
it does not matter a shit. the lines are probably from the sheet of gasket paper that they cut them from
fixitrod
The lines may be a material that causes them to seal also. Kind of like the stock head gasket has on it. I'd put the line side toward the enging also, but if you have them on already, I wouldn't worry about it.
Justintoxicated
nah it was late last night, I did get the cylinders and head back on though... It should be together soon, that is if I don't mind worknig on it in the freezing cold at night. I'll put them on with the lined side towads the cylinders. thanks, JI
