Reed Cage Comparison

The replacement V-force reeds for mine was $92 and that is with a discount, also don't put the reeds on the "LOW" setting. They will wear out 3 times as fast. I'm speaking from experience here. When bought new I set them at low and lasted one season, after I replaced them I set them at "high" and just replaced them this winter after 3 seasons. Also I would suggest putting some locktite on the small screws that hold the reeds together just to be safe.

Jethro That was Backcountry on a race ported banshee. I guess if you have enough money to trick out a motor then the $230 for v-force reeds isn't going to matter. Porting my reed cages was free, just took time. The TDR reeds were $32. I am not saying the vforce are bad, I just never could justify the cost.

i hear ya bro that is alot of money for reeds

i think i payed like 65 bucks for both sets of my boyseen reeds how ever you spell that companys name and then another 45 for a set when i was down in the dunes becouse one was sucked into my motor <_< the reeds on the vforce are not much more over priced then most reeds

32 bucks for both sets of reeds on the tdr or is that just one set

i think the vforce reeds are like 80 bucks for reeds for both cages
