Phast
+4 degree key. But if you want the bike to be reliable get the timing plate! Timing keys shear off sometimes!
lian
what will the plate do and do you still keep the degree key in
Phast
The degree key goes away and you put the stocker back in, if you want the timing plate! The timing plate uses the pickup to advance or retard the timing, A degree key moves the flywheel to advance the timing.............. Do you have a degree key yet? or are you asking what to get? Phast
Well if your on a budget and need to go cheap get the +4 degree key......But just to be safe you might want to carry the stock key and some tools with ya just incase it shears off on ya! But if your not on a budget and can afford it then get the timing plate! Or get ahold of BDbanshee and he can modify your stock one to go to +4 degrees. Justintoxicated
get ricky stators adjustable timing plate, it's not that much more expensive than the key. http://www.rickystator.com You can advance or retard your timing to whatever you want, probably +
