Illinos Atv Task Force

Well i heard the news today from a good friend that the state of illinois for the peoria area has purchased 5 polaris sportsman 700 for a new task force to crack down on illegal riding. The task force is made up of county police local DNR and volunters. If cuaght ( dont ask me how they gonna do that) your back is impounded and sold at state auction and you are fined and me even serve jail time depnding on the crime comitted.

 

 

 

personally i wanna know how they are gonna catch me or find me some paint and old plastic and theyd never know, personally i think it sucks ass.

So they spent at least $40,000 in tax money just to enforce a law that already exists. It's the people that are out riding illegally that give all ATVers a bad name and end up getting places shut down for the rest of us.

Agreed, but if we had places to go some people wouldn't have to ride illegally. It does hurt us and give us a bad rap but if there is no place to ride it is hard to just look at you machine and not ride it. I don't condone illegal riding but I have done it in the past so can't give them too much shit.
