Tim C
I'm going to buy a new crank and was wondering if it's worth the extra money to go with the long rod crank and spacer plate. Is there much difference in power over a regular rod crank. Anyone know anything about Vito's cranks with the keyed centers - how do they compare to Wiseco cranks. Leadfoot350
if you are going to buy a new crank you might as well get a stroker. It just a couple bucks more
boonman
Stroker and porting. You will kick yourself in the man junk if you don't stroke it...
bbluebanshee
if you are buying a new crank, you dont even need a spacer plate with a 4mm stroker. that is what i put on my bike and it rocks!!
Leadfoot350
you can run a +4 stroker with +5 long rods with either blaster pistons or 795 pistons and just cut the domes.
shee4202
I've been thinking about buying a hotrods 4mm longrod stroker crank. The guy at wiseco told me that's what everybody's useing and it's a quick selling crank. He also said that it puts the displacement over 400cc. Just use the 795 series pistons and the spacer plate. Aussie Quad Racer
On a stock bore it does not even come close to 400cc. its 373cc it would take .080 over to get close to 400cc
